Live Music 

Terrenal Palermo is a cosy bar/restaurant located in Palermo on the corner of Scalabrini Ortiz and Cabrera with live bands every Tuesday, ranging from jazz to salsa and bachata.


La Catedral This milonga is located in the neighborhood of Almagro in a historical building that dates back to 1880 and is a part of the cultural and artistic patrimony of the area.

Milonga del Indio Another popular open-air milonga in Plaza Dorrego, San Telmo, Sunday’s from 8pm.

Salon Canning For a milonga with a bit of class!

La Glorieta de Las Barrancas del Belgrano An open-air milonga popular among the tangueros and milongueros of Buenos Aires. It is every Saturday and Sunday evening from around 7pm until 11pm.


Lo de Roberto Bar For a truly local bar, head down to this popular bar located at Bulnes 331, Almagro at around 10pm on a Tuesday or Thursday night for a bottle of Quilmes and a live tango-duo.

Post Street Bar This cool dive bar in Palermo Soho has walls covered in graffiti, a cosy atmosphere and a dart board.

Antares This brew bar serves eight tap beers in pint-sied glasses, including Porter, Cream Stout, Honey Beer and Barley Wine. There is also the option of a seven-beer sampler.

Soría Bar A fun lively bar self-described as a “garden in the centre of Palermo.”

Perón Perón This is another local bar in Palermo for the political-minded, where you can enjoy homemade Peronist beer and wine.

Congo Bar Charming and popular bar with an outdoor area.

Bar Isabel This bar and restaurant was chosen by Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler and Wallpaper for it’s concept, design and clientele.


Terrazas del Este This is our favorite nightclub! On Wednesday nights from 9pm-2am go to the ‘after office’ at Terrazas del Este.

Osaka Peruvian/ Asian fusion. Amazing sushi, ceviche and seafood. Don’t miss out on the duck dumplings!

Unik Argentine/ French fusion. They have a selective menu of both meats and seafoods of the highest quality, as well as excellent service.

Piegari Classic Italian pasta restaurant. The decoration is somewhat dated, but a great option for takeaway. The lamb stuffed ravioli in white wine cream sauce with mushrooms is the best you’ll find anywhere.

Bi Won Authentic Korean food. Delicious dishes with an incredible variety of flavours. Definitely order the BBQ pork and Bibim bap, but don’t order the fish, it is way to salty.

Sucre International cuisine. Great wine list, great service, and fantastic atmosphere. Thursday special is the Asado de Tira, short beef ribs.

Benihana Janapense Sushi and Teppanyaki. Extremely delicious, with great lunch boat specials 12-3pm and happy hour every day between 4-8pm.

Tandoor Authentic Indian dishes, with the heat you desire. Great quality, friendly helpful staff, good service.

La Brigada Typical Argentine Parrilla, great meat and authentic, local atmosphere.

El Preferido de Palermo Traditional Spanish menu. Great decor, food and atmosphere!

Club Eros A parrilla in the heart of Palermo Soho. A local favourite for a hearty meal at a reasonable price.
